About Me

I am Tucker, and I have been doing this work for more than 20 years.

I spent much of my career in high-pressure technical environments. I was one of the original four employees at Firefly Aerospace and part of the founding infrastructure team. I built IT systems there from the earliest days through orbital launch — environments where precision mattered, systems could not fail, and the cost of a bad call was real. I know what it feels like to work in a place where something breaking is not just inconvenient, it is a serious problem.

That experience shaped how I work. I stay calm in situations that are not calm. I find the actual failure instead of guessing. I explain what happened without burying you in jargon. And I help you understand what to do so the same thing is less likely to happen again.

I am based in Austin and I work with people who run real businesses — restaurants, medical offices, contractors, retail, small offices. People who do not have an IT department but still need things to work.

I am not the cheapest option. I am the one you want when it matters.


My Background

20+ years in IT across high-pressure operational environments, small business support, and enterprise infrastructure.

Firefly Aerospace (founding team) — One of four original employees. Built and managed IT infrastructure from startup through orbital launch. Worked in an environment where system reliability had real operational and safety consequences.

Austin-based, locally focused — I live here, I work here. When you need someone on-site, I am not dispatching a contractor from across the city.

Plain English communication — I explain what failed, why it failed, and what you can do to reduce the risk of it happening again. No jargon. No upselling. Just a clear picture of what happened and what comes next.


How I Work

I do not require a monthly contract or a retainer. You call when you need me. I respond based on the urgency of your situation. Emergency calls get emergency response. Scheduled work gets scheduled rates.

I work with a small number of clients at any given time so I can actually respond when something goes wrong. I am not managing a ticket queue for 200 businesses. When you call, I pick up.
